The CCRC is excited to announce that Jane Yu has joined the team as a student intern. We appreciate Jane choosing to do her internship at the CCRC and look forward to working with her.
Below is a message from Jane:
I’m Jane, a university student at McGill, majoring in Education in Global Contexts and minoring in International Development. I’m really passionate about children’s rights—especially helping kids explore their passions and tackling issues like violence against them. I’ve had the chance to volunteer as a piano teacher at St. Gabriel Elementary School, where I supported students in expressing themselves creatively, and I’ve also been involved with my university’s Student Society. Outside of school, I stay active with hockey and yoga, which I love for the teamwork and mindfulness they bring. I’m very happy to work with the CCRC and look forward to contributing to its important mission.
In the upcoming months, Jane will be sharing her research findings on children’s rights education in Canada.
