Happy new year, CCRC supporters.

We look forward to 2022 when Canada will be reviewed by the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. We also will continue to work with allies to protect children from violence, including repealing Section 43 of the criminal code (in order to prohibit spanking).

Check out our first volunteer spotlight on our Winter 2022 intern, Katia!
Looking forward to working with many of you in the year to come.

Opportunity for organizations to work with students at King's University College at Western

Sam Frankel, PhD is inviting organizations to be part of an interactive learning opportunity with students in the course "Introduction to Child Advocacy” at King’s University College at Western.

The Introduction to Child Advocacy course at King’s University College at Western would like to invite organisations that work with children to be part of an interactive learning opportunity. The aim of the course is to support organisations to create a culture of advocacy in which children’s voices are heard and amplified. A small group of students from the course would engage with the organizations through a dedicated project administrator.

We hope this project would be the start of a collaborative relationship, providing a range of future opportunities and benefits.
For more information or to connect with us, please contact the project administrator Gabrielle Gooch at ggooch@uwo.ca
