The Canadian Coalition for the Rights of Children (CCRC) is keen to invite you to our upcoming webinar series, As the Dream Continues: Advocacy for Children and Indigenous Rights in Canadian Systems, which will run from September to December 2023. This series will provide worthwhile insights into some of the most pressing issues related to the rights of both children and Indigenous people in Canada.

The CCRC is passionate about the rights of children and Indigenous people in Canada and is committed to exploring the issues surrounding the child welfare system and the policy changes implemented over time. We will provide attendees with a better understanding of the child welfare system, the legal system, and the distinct approaches used by those who have experienced the impacts of these systems firsthand. One of the upcoming webinars will focus on learning how to better preserve Indigenous heritage in everyday documentation and discuss the challenges that have arisen in practice. As the series comes to an end, young leaders from different parts of the world will be invited to highlight the importance of involving all children and youth in matters that affect them. Collaborating with children while respecting their distinct rights and needs and upholding values of integrity can go a long way in shaping a more promising future for the next generation. We encourage you to join us and become an engaged participant in these conversations. This webinar series will be a valuable resource for anyone interested in learning more about these critical issues from experts, including those with lived experience on these significant issues.
