Join the OneChild Youth Advisory Squad!

The Youth Advisory Squad is a FREE VIRTUAL scholarship empowerment program designed to train passionate youth to become ambassadors, advocates, and advisors both within their communities and to OneChild directly. Our goal is to engage and equip young people in the fight to end child sex trafficking.

From September to June, YAS members ages 14–17 from across Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan meet remotely every other Saturday (biweekly), making participation accessible no matter where you are located. Throughout the program, you will: 1) Receive training in advocacy, public speaking, facilitation, and action planning; 2) Learn about the sexual exploitation of children and its various forms; 3) Carry out a mandatory capstone project in your school and/or community; 4) Hear from guest speakers and industry professionals; 5) Offer insight and feedback to help guide OneChild's youth engagement strategies
